The California Honeydrops 10.8.17 @ 7:30pm

The California Honeydrops don’t just play music — they throw parties. Led by dynamic vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Lech Wierzynski, and drawing on diverse musical influences from Bay Area R&B, funk, Southern soul, Delta blues, and New Orleans second-line, the Honeydrops have taken the party all over the world: on nine European tours, featured slots at such premiere festivals as Monterey Jazz, High Sierra, and Outside Lands, and recent performances supporting B.B. King, Dr. John, Buddy Guy, and Allen Toussaint.

He has toured with Norah Jones, Bob Dylan, Elvis Costello, Paul Simon, Merle Haggard, Van Morrison, Dave Matthews Band, Adele, The Avett Brothers, and David Gray, among other greats.

Steep Canyon Rangers 12.1.17 @ 8pm

It’s a mix of serious chops and good-natured fun that earned the Steep Canyon Rangers the Grammy Award for Best Bluegrass Album Grammy in 2013, and that drew celebrated comedian/banjoist Steve Martin to them when he needed a backing band. The Rangers are world-class musicians who are just as at home taking the stage at Carnegie Hall as they are
knee- deep in a mountain brook, fly rod in hand. They take the Shaftman Performance Hall stage to celebrate their highly anticipated ninth studio Album, RADIO.
