It was New Year's Eve of 1994 when five experienced bluegrass musicians from Southwestern Virginia and East Tennessee first performed together as Blue Highway. Since that first show, they have gone on to see tremendous success as touring and recording artists, with 8 albums to their credit, and a huge following both within and beyond bluegrass music.

We are fortunate that they have chosen Roanoke to celebrate their 15th Anniversary on March 12, and The Jefferson's Shaftman Performance Hall is the perfect venue for such an august occasion.

Blue Highway will feature material from their 8 CDs, plus their new compilation project, Some Day: A Fifteenth Anniversary Collection, a greatest hits album with 3 new tracks. Their show is dynamic and highly entertaining, mixing traditional bluegrass, riveting Gospel harmonies, thoughtful original material and an engaging - and often hilarious - presentation.
