Scott Perry

Scott Perry is a devoted purveyor of acoustic blues performance. With a repertoire that draws from traditional blues, ragtime, Tin Pan Alley, old-time, jazz and mountain guitar music, Scott’s performances celebrate the enduring vitality of American music created in the early 20th century. Scott has devoted years to learning from the original blues legends, both via recordings and in person, and conveys his deep respect for these masters in his own art.

A veteran educator, Scott’s accessible and enjoyable school program can be geared for students of any grade level and includes performance, demonstration, and audience participation (singing and clapping along with the music). You and your students alike will be impressed by Scott’s extensive knowledge, fine musicianship and entertaining presentational style.
