Education and Outreach Director
Jefferson Center Foundation seeks an Education and Outreach Director for its Music Lab program. The employee will be responsible for managing the Music Lab, an innovative model of experiential learning in music business, technology, and performance. The employee will also be responsible for managing the creation and production of impactful educational outreach programs designed to serve youth and underserved communities throughout Southwest Virginia through arts based mentorship strategies.

Jefferson Center seeks a summer intern to work directly with the Executive Director on a myriad of projects. Candidate must be an undergraduate or graduate student with professional goals in the nonprofit cultural arts and a sincere interest in gaining experience in multiple departments including Development, Programming, Finance, Education, and Venue management. House Managers (Part-Time)
Jefferson Center is seeking two (2) experienced House Managers who can ensure all front-of-house responsibilities operate in a smooth and efficient manner throughout each event, in an environment that conforms to health, safety and fire regulations. House Managers are responsible for volunteer management during events, patron safety, guest services onsite, reseating, merchandise close outs, and cross communicating with Artistic and Technical staff to ensure smooth event function.
