Patrons may also purchase tickets by phone by calling the Box Office at 540-345-2550, Monday through Friday, 10AM-5PM. What can I expect if there is inclement weather?
Because many Jefferson Center performances are part of a larger nationwide or worldwide tour for most artists, we must leave the decision to cancel a show due to inclement weather up to the performing artist. Likewise, it is up to the discretion of the performing artist to reschedule a show. If a show is cancelled due to inclement weather Jefferson Center will update the event page on this website, post the cancellation on our Facebook page and also the recording on the box office phone line. If a show is cancelled we will offer full refunds to anyone who has purchased tickets. If the show goes on as scheduled despite inclement weather, no refund will be issued. If a show is rescheduled by an artist, patrons may receive a refund for their ticket if they are not able to attend the concert on the rescheduled date.
Can I bring my camera and take photos/videos during the performance?
Jefferson Center's house policy is that no photography, flash or otherwise, is allowed in Shaftman Performance Hall.  We strive to create an environment where the memories are captured with your senses, instead of your technology.  However, allowing photos/videos at a performance is ultimately left up to the performing artist. Generally artists do not allow recording devices at their shows, however feel free to call our Box Office at any point before a show if you have questions about bringing a camera to an event or ask an usher on the night of the event.

If you are planning on visiting Jefferson Center for a performance or another event and have questions, please contact Kate Chase, Patron Services Manager, at 540-343-2624 ext 218 or kchase[at]jeffcenter[dot]org
